Hi folks, I'm Samwise! I'm a 1.5 year old heeler mix with legs for days and a longer-than-life tail that's always wagging. My foster mom says I’m the silliest and most joyful dog she’s ever known! Weighing in at 45 pounds, I LOVE to wrestle and play with my doggie sister! When our wrestling matches are over, there's nothing I love more than showing my humans how much they mean to me. I'm as loyal as they come and my foster mom says my house manners are impeccable! I'm house trained, crate trained, a master of the doggie door, and I’ve even graduated from an obedience class too! I have pretty good leash manners but sometimes I still get spooked by things like motorcycles or joggers who sneak up behind me! But I’ve been practicing staying cool under pressure when I’m out on my daily walkies With your help I’ll keep up all the progress I’ve made! Kids over 10 will be best for me, just because I am still unsure about some things and those little ones move really fast! My loyalty knows no bounds & you'll know just how much I love you when I gently lean against your legs and gaze up at you with my sweet smile. I'll be your go-to guy for snuggles, playtime, and unwavering devotion. Ready for a new loyal sidekick? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
