Meet Amy

Amy is a 2 year old terrier mix. She is the most lovable dog you will ever meet. All she wants to do is love on you, preferably from your lap, with lots of kisses and snuggles. Her favorite thing first thing in the morning is play! She sometimes reminds you by sitting on top of the toy box. She loves ropes, squeakers, balls, really anything. If she doesn’t have toys she may resort to shoes, so she needs someone who loves toys as much as she does. She loves to fetch and has the cutest bunny hop run you’ve ever seen. She gets along wonderfully with her fur siblings and loves to wrestle with them and play chase. She watches her fur siblings for direction, and would do great in a multi-dog household. She is fully potty trained, and learned how to use the doggy door in two days. She is smart and inquisitive. She quickly learned how to walk calmly by her mom’s side, even though she is curious about every blade of grass she passes. She is super sweet, very gentle, and doesn’t like to pull. She is fully crate trained, and sleeps great in her crate, although she would also love to share your bed if you’re looking for a snuggle buddy. She can be shy meeting new people, but with patience and treats, she warms up quickly, and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She hasn’t been in a home with small children, so it’s questionable how she would do with little ones. She rarely barks, but gives the cutest happy howl when she is excited to see you. She is sure to bring joy and smiles to her forever home. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
