Meet Oliver Mitchell

Est. DOB: 2/2023,  male, neutered, heartworm negative, chipped, and UTD on vaccinations . Approx. 45 pounds. Oliver was found in January when it was below freezing. His ribs were showing and looked a little rough - despite this, he was very friendly and approachable.  He is extremely loveable and just wants to please you. He is very friendly to everyone who comes to everyone has met so far. He even does fairly well with cats he has met. He does not chase them, but rather curious/wary about them and not mean.  He enjoys running and chasing balls. He loves chew toys, dog treats, and belly rubs! He is a champion snuggler. He is almost potty-trained and in the process of leash and obedience training. He has an eagerness to please. He can get over-excited because he is so sweet-natured and goofy. He just loves to play, be loved and give love ❤️ Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at :  https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1 $200 (including tax) adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates. If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes.

Adoption Process
A completed and approved adoption application and contract is required. In some circumstances a home check may be required. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs (which includes spay/neuter, HW test (if over 6 months old) core vaccinations and rabies and flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care. $85 for cats which includes a FeLuk/FIV test, core vaccinations and rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter and wormer, flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care
