Justice for Samson Animal Rescue

I am a 53 year old woman who has rescued animals all of my life. As a child i constantly picked up strays to re-home. This continued into my adult life. I rescued my first dog from a fight ring and drug house in 2013. Samson was the first dog i owned in 14 years. He was also the best dog I ever owned. Samson was a mastiff/shar-pei mix. His brother Memphis came along in a couple of months. In 2016 Samson was poisoned. I spent every day and over 2,000 dollars trying to save him. By the time we figured out what was going on. It was too late. I began to educate myself on dog poisoning and breed selection. Samson never hurt anyone. This led me to the world of animal rescues. Though I know i will never have Samson back on earth. If I can save one dog and educate people about breed selection and dog poisoning. Then I feel as if Samson would be proud.

He prefers the calm and comfort of his kennel during meals and does best when given his space, as he can become anxious if other dogs approach his bowl. Jax can be selective with other dogs, he may do well with a calm and respectful canine companion after a proper introduction. if you're looking for a loving thoughtful companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, consider giving Jax the forever home he deserves.
