Rockwall Pets

We are a foster based organization with no shelter facility. We helped the Rockwall shelter become no kill and we are now proud to say that we take in more dogs and cats from Dallas Animal Services than any other organization. Our fosters are passionate about saving lives. We have a robust transport program and we drive dogs to our partners around the country to help with the overpopulation in Texas. Our mission is to save every precious life possible.

Meet Finnegan

Introducing Finnegan, or Finn, the most adorable dog you'll ever meet! He’s a little guy but loves so big! Finn was brought to the shelter as a stray but is ready for a family to call his own. He's looking for a calm and patient home that understands he needs time to warm up. In the short week he has been at his foster home, he’s made huge strides! Once Finnegan knows he can trust you, get ready to have an adorable little shadow by your side. Finn would be over the moon with a doggy sibling! Having a canine companion would help boost his confidence and make him feel more secure in his new surroundings.Finn is working really hard to master his house-training. He's a smart little pupper, and with continued positive reinforcement and patience, he'll be acing his potty-training in no time! Finn hasn’t been around cats, but we feel like he would be just fine! He sniffs his foster family’s bunny and prairie dog and just walks away. He would much rather be with his people or canine siblings. He is crate-trained, weighs around 10 pounds, and is about 8 years old. He is also current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and crate-trained. Contact [email protected] for more info or to arrange a meet and greet!

Adoption Process
We ask a minimum $175 donation for dogs and $50 for cats. Puppies are $225 and kittens are $125. Senior dogs have a special rate of $100. All pets have their basic vaccinations, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. An adoption counselor interviews the potential adopting family, then has them complete the application.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
