Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a foster based rescue group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of our dachshund friends. We have foster families in from San Antonio, New Braunfels, Austin, Georgetown, Kerrville, and other parts of Central Texas. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. As such, we must rely heavily on donations and contributions, which are a necessity in order to continue to be able to pay the costs of health care, administrative needs, and other necessary expenses for each of our dachshunds. Diamond Dachshund has rescued, rehabilitated and placed approximately one hundred dachshunds each year since our incorporation in 1998. That's a lot of happy, healthy dogs and equally happy families! We strive to find the right home for each dog's individual personality and needs, so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the humans who adopt them, are equally happy.

Meet Bubbles Mae

Bubbles and Buttercup came into rescue together. Bubbles may be the smaller of the pair, but don’t let her size fool you—this girl has  big dog energy ! She’s calm, confident, and loves to explore at her own pace. Her favorite things in the world are treats, being held like a baby, and sniffing around on new adventures. She’s incredibly friendly and easygoing, and while she’s still working on potty training, she’s already mastered the art of winning hearts. Bubbles is great with other dogs and cats, and is expected to stay under 15 pounds full grown. If you’re looking for a cuddly little explorer with a gentle soul, Bubbles is your girl!   Bubbles is now ready for adoption under our puppy contract.
