Meet Maya

Maya was adopted as a puppy but as the family grew over the last year, with a toddler and another baby on the way, the family decided that Maya it too tiny and fragile for the little people in her life. She is now in LHS foster care seeking a forever home to call her own.  Weighing in at 15lbs and 1 1/12 years old, this little girl is all kinds of adorable. She has never been around cats but we think she would do just fine. She is good with other dogs and people. She can be a little shy at first so a home that isn't high traffic would be best. She is crate trained and housebroken.  She is heartworm negative, microchipped, spayed, current on her vaccinations and all she needs now is a forever home to call her own. If you are interested in meeting this little girl, please complete an online application and the foster will be in touch asap: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

Adoption Process
$200 fee for dogs and $250 puppies. They are fully vetted and put in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters complete an adoption app and we will check their vet reference or do a home check. Once they are approved, they will meet w/ the foster family and dog to see if it's a good match for their family.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
