Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League

We are a rural rescue in Pipe Creek Texas. We have a nicely appointed outdoor kennel space with lots of land. We help with the overcrowding problem by taking in strays and pull off the euthanasia list to save dogs. We adopt locally in Texas and abroad to good homes. We then use a transporter to get them to their dream home if it is outside the state of Texas.

Meet Petey

Welcome Petey to CCPAL Foster Program.  He is a 6-month old Lab/Black Mouth Cur puppy.  He weighs about 45 pounds and is a wonderful puppy.  His foster mom has enrolled him in doggy daycare and he is wonderful in daycare.  He gets along great with other dogs.  He is in foster care with cats and all his time around them is supervised.  He has done fine with the cats.   He is also a part of a training group and works to learn the basic commands.  He is potty trained, good on a leash, doesn’t jump up, knows sit and is good in a crate.  This puppy is very well rounded.  He naturally bonds deep to his family and may be protective of his family.  He is very very friendly to strangers and takes direction easily and well.  He has a great attention span.  He will make some lucky family a great companion.  He would be best with a more active family over a couch potato type.  He would be great with another dog or he could go as an only pup.  He does love play time with other dogs.  He would be a great pup with children.  We like them to be 8 or older.  He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally.  We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.  Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email [email protected] if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/   See his cute video.

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is 170 and transport on a ground transport is 185. We also use a plane and it is the normal airline rates.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
