Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League

We are a rural rescue in Pipe Creek Texas. We have a nicely appointed outdoor kennel space with lots of land. We help with the overcrowding problem by taking in strays and pull off the euthanasia list to save dogs. We adopt locally in Texas and abroad to good homes. We then use a transporter to get them to their dream home if it is outside the state of Texas.

Meet Missy

Welcome Missy to CCPAL Rescue Foster program.  Missy Gorda is a 2 -year- old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua).  She weighs about 13 pounds and appears to be a good weight.  She has the Pug body and is thick in the middle.  She is very playful with toys.  She is in a foster home with a large dog and Minnie and she does good with both.  She isn’t a big shedder.  She isn’t too vocal which is nice.  She can use the doggy door and goes outside to do her business.  She came from a hoarding situation and probably hasn’t been held much.  She is a little nervous being held and has a bit of a stiff body.  She loves her crate and will go to it when she is scared.  The crate makes her feel safe.  She is a wonderful little dog.  She is really doing great in her foster home.  We think the best home for Missy is a home with a partially or fully retired person or someone who has a quieter home.  She would be great with someone that is more to themselves and doesn’t have a houseful of people everyday.  She is a nice dog and when she is afraid she will retreat to her crate.  She is getting lots of attention in her foster home and is doing great.  She wouldn’t require a huge yard but a fenced one would be best for this girl.  She can go with children.  We like them to be 8 or older.  She is currently in Texas in foster care.  She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed soon.  She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200.  Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to [email protected] if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is 170 and transport on a ground transport is 185. We also use a plane and it is the normal airline rates.
