Angie's Friends

Angie's Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization established in 2008 for the sole purpose of aiding neglected and abused dogs in economically depressed neighborhoods of Dallas.The organization is named for, and the grassroots work is done by, Angie Manriquez, who is known throughout the community as "The Fairy Dogmother of Dallas". Even though Angie's Friends was not formed until 2008, Angie has been carrying on her mission since 1999.

Meet Blue

This is Blue, a 2-month-old puppy. His father, Bubba, is a gray/blue pit mixed chained up in a trashed yard, living in the mud when it rains. His mother used to live in the same yard roaming until she gave birth, and the owner simply kicked her and the puppies out of the yard.  Blue's sweet and fun with beautiful blue eyes. He has his mother's sweet temperament.
