Welcome to Allie's Haven Animal Rescue sweet Hazel. Hazel is a precious 9 year old purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever. Sadly her owner passed away and her family kept her for a few months but could not afford to keep her so they surrendered her to a small rural shelter. She was immediately put on the euthanasia list due to being an owner surrender and a senior dog. She is now safe in our care. What her foster has to say about this amazing dog. Hazel is potty trained, crate trained but doesn't need to be crated. She walks perfectly on leash, is very dog, cat and people friendly. Hazel takes treats very gentle and she has shown off her bucket full of tricks. She is healthy and very happy to just hang out with her foster family, the cats. She just lays on the porch with them and watches the neighborhood squirrels without any reaction whatsoever. Hazel would love a play buddy or 2 in her perfect home but can also thrive as an only dog. She is the easy dog we have fostered. Hazel is fully vetted, very healthy for her age and ready to find a loving home.
Adoption Process
online application ($15 fee), screen app, check references, phone interview and foster does home visit then final approval.
