Collin County Animal Services

Collin County Animal Services is the stay hold facility for McKinney, Frisco, and most of the small towns and unincorporated areas of Collin County. Our adoption program is funded completely on donations and is run primarily by volunteers. Our staff and volunteers work hard daily to try to find homes for all our dogs and cats. We work very hard to minimize the possibility of having to euthanize due to lack of space. We are here to promote these wonderful dogs and cats as pets and find the perfect match for them.

Hi there, I’m John Chewton (58458551) and yes, the name is as charming as I am. I’m a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as my fluffy paws! If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate cuddle buddy, you just found him. I know SIT and  SHAKE, and I’m not shy about pawing gently at you for more love (can you blame me?). I’d be over the moon to find a forever family to snuggle up with. Adoption Process
Dog adoptions are $75 and Cat adoptions are $50. This includes spay/neuter, microchip and first round of vaccinations. Adoptions are at the shelter and are same-day.
