Meet Jacoby
Posted on 4/7/23, and the pictures were taken on 4/1/23. Jacoby was picked up by the Smith County, TX Animal Shelter on 8/15/22. We picked him up on 12/2/22, he was already neutered, estimated to have been born in 2013, and weighed 68 pounds on 4/1/23. Jacoby is a guard dog. He would be perfect for a single person that he can protect and give lots of love to. He does not like my husband or teenage son when they try to come to the fenced area that he is in, but if I bring him out of the fenced area on a leash, he will let my husband hold his leash with no problem. He is great with the other dogs (both genders), good on a leash, loves to be pet, crate trained, and does not dig under or climb fencing. We don't know if he is house trained. $25 adoption fee, since donations were made for his vet care, and he was already neutered.
Adoption Process
Cat adoption fees are currently $25 to $70, which pays for spay/neuter and vaccinations. Dog adoption fees vary from $25 to $115 depending on how much it cost for spay/neuter and vaccinations. Adoption contracts must be signed upon adoption approval and any pet history information is provided with each adoption.
