Angie's Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization established in 2008 for the sole purpose of aiding neglected and abused dogs in economically depressed neighborhoods of Dallas.The organization is named for, and the grassroots work is done by, Angie Manriquez, who is known throughout the community as "The Fairy Dogmother of Dallas". Even though Angie's Friends was not formed until 2008, Angie has been carrying on her mission since 1999.

Meet Pumpkin

Pumpkin joined the Angie's Friends family after Angie repeatedly observed him crossing a very busy 6-lane road. The neighbors in the area were feeding Pumpkin, but weren't able to catch him. No one is sure if he's a long-haired chihuahua or a long-haired doxie or both or something else all together! Pumpkin is a little shy and still working on his confidence, but he just needs a little help :) He's neutered and fully vetted. #pumpkin #angiesfriends #puppymillssuck
