Meet Skunk

Hello my name is Skunk and it’s not because I am a little stinker it’s because my foster said my right ear reminder of a skunks markings. I am the most independent one of my litter, I will play with the others but prefer to be off doing things by myself or chewing on my antler without them bothering me. I work well for food and enjoy working on things just with a little less gusto than my siblings. I do love to snuggle and hog all the pets when it’s my turn. I am doing well with going in my crate for meals, down time and sleeping through the night. I can get offended if my littermates are too up in my business but have been working on removing myself from the situation instead of making a bad decision, which has been working well for me. If you can’t tell from my pictures I LOVE food a little too much my foster would say, but it does help with training and getting me to do things. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application.

Adoption Process
You can fill out an adoption application online at http://www.dallaspetsalive.org or in person at an adoption event. After a screening process, paying the adoption fee, and signing a contract, you can take your new friend home!
