Meet Lisbeth

Introducing Lisbeth, a courageous and affectionate puppy who has triumphed over adversity with grace and resilience. Lisbeth's journey began when she fell into the care of an individual who, unfortunately, subjected her to a distressing ordeal. In an attempt to alter Lisbeth's appearance, this individual resorted to a cruel and painful method, tightly binding her tail with rubber bands in a misguided effort to remove it. The consequences were dire, as the rubber bands cut off circulation to Lisbeth's tail, causing her immense suffering. Thankfully, Lisbeth's plight did not go unnoticed. A compassionate Police Officer intervened, rescuing her from further harm and bringing her to BARC, where she received urgent medical attention and we were able to get her to our emergency vet. Despite the pain she endured, Lisbeth's spirit remains unbroken. She is a testament to resilience and the unwavering capacity for love, her gentle nature shining through despite her traumatic past. Now, Lisbeth is seeking a foster or forever home where she can thrive and flourish, surrounded by love, care, and compassion. She may be small in size, only about 35lbs, but her heart is boundless, brimming with affection and loyalty.  Lisbeth is only about 8 months old and loves to play fetch.  She loves playing with other dogs too.  She's a fun-loving pup! With her adorable appearance (and those ears!) and endearing personality, Lisbeth is sure to capture the hearts of all who meet her. Application, vet check, home visit. we have a $150 dog adoption fee and an $85 cat adoption fee.
