Tonya Griffith's Animal Rescue, Inc.

This is a small animal rescue for cats and dogs. I have several foster homes in various areas, and I also post pictures for people who need help finding a home for their pet, which many times has been successful. The pet doesn't have to enter a rescue or shelter and the owner is contacted, so they decide who their pet goes to. If a person can't send me pictures, and they don't live too far away, I will go and videotape the pet myself to place pictures on the internet. There have been a few pets that haven't been able to find a home through this service, but it depends on what the pet is and who is looking on the internet. When we have space available we take transfers from a local kill animal shelter. We also step in and help people who find themselves with multiple animals and no way to pay to get them fixed. Usually I will get all the females fixed to get their circumstances under control, and in some cases I will also help with donated food when I have extra. If they want to find homes for some of the many pets they have accumulated, then I will place their pictures on the internet for them. We don't euthanize unless a pet is seriously ill.

Meet A-Sweet Girl

COURTESY POSTING FOR Eddie Vennum, [email protected], 903-258-3577, Tyler, TX. "After purchasing some land, 5 puppies were found huddled in a pile.  This one we are calling "Sweet Girl", estimated to be 6 weeks old on 5/7/24.  She is the last puppy that still needs to be adopted.  The veterinarian is suggesting possibly Blue Heeler, but we think she resembles a St. Bernard.  She is very social and friendly, good with adults, children, dogs and cats."   $30 adoption fee.

Adoption Process
Cat adoption fees are currently $25 to $70, which pays for spay/neuter and vaccinations. Dog adoption fees vary from $25 to $115 depending on how much it cost for spay/neuter and vaccinations. Adoption contracts must be signed upon adoption approval and any pet history information is provided with each adoption.
