Justice for Samson Animal Rescue

I am a 53 year old woman who has rescued animals all of my life. As a child i constantly picked up strays to re-home. This continued into my adult life. I rescued my first dog from a fight ring and drug house in 2013. Samson was the first dog i owned in 14 years. He was also the best dog I ever owned. Samson was a mastiff/shar-pei mix. His brother Memphis came along in a couple of months. In 2016 Samson was poisoned. I spent every day and over 2,000 dollars trying to save him. By the time we figured out what was going on. It was too late. I began to educate myself on dog poisoning and breed selection. Samson never hurt anyone. This led me to the world of animal rescues. Though I know i will never have Samson back on earth. If I can save one dog and educate people about breed selection and dog poisoning. Then I feel as if Samson would be proud.

Meet Moe

Meet Moe, a resilient survivor from the streets of Houston, TX. Despite battling heartworm and demodex, he's now healthy and ready for a forever home. Due to his past, Moe is initially timid around humans but warms up quickly with patience and trust. He's a gentle giant who craves affection, enjoying pets, hugs, and kisses once he feels safe. Moe's ideal home would be a calm environment without small children to ensure he feels secure. He's a smart, well-trained companion who walks beautifully on a harness and leash, though collars make him nervous. Microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations, Moe is ready to be someone's loyal soulmate, relishing in chew bones, toys, and a cozy bed to call his own. Are you ready to open your heart to this big-hearted sweetheart?
