Justice for Samson Animal Rescue

I am a 53 year old woman who has rescued animals all of my life. As a child i constantly picked up strays to re-home. This continued into my adult life. I rescued my first dog from a fight ring and drug house in 2013. Samson was the first dog i owned in 14 years. He was also the best dog I ever owned. Samson was a mastiff/shar-pei mix. His brother Memphis came along in a couple of months. In 2016 Samson was poisoned. I spent every day and over 2,000 dollars trying to save him. By the time we figured out what was going on. It was too late. I began to educate myself on dog poisoning and breed selection. Samson never hurt anyone. This led me to the world of animal rescues. Though I know i will never have Samson back on earth. If I can save one dog and educate people about breed selection and dog poisoning. Then I feel as if Samson would be proud.

Meet Monica

Meet Monica, a resilient senior with a heart of gold. Despite enduring unimaginable challenges, Monica's spirit remains unbroken. Her first two years were spent in a dog fight ring, followed by two more in a shelter. After a brief taste of home life, she found herself abandoned once again. But through it all, Monica has persevered. Although she's selective with other dogs, Monica's loyalty knows no bounds. She thrives as the center of attention and would flourish as your one and only companion. Despite finding some lumps, they've been determined to be non-cancerous. Monica is a survivor in every sense of the word, and she's ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. With basic commands under her belt, kennel-trained, vaccinated, housebroken, spayed, and microchipped, Monica is more than ready to become the cherished member of a loving family. If you're looking to offer a forever home to a deserving soul, Monica is waiting to fill your life with joy and gratitude.
