Murray County Humane Society

We are a small group of volunteers who try to help rehome surrendered animals & also pull & rehome from our local high kill animal control. We have a foster facility along with a few foster homes that house the animals until they are adopted (or live out their lives if not adopted). Our group is very dedicated to helping all that we can with what resources we have. We do not turn any away if we have space. We feel they all deserve a chance at life in a good loving home.

Meet Buck

We CANNOT believe this boy's luck! He has been stood up not Once, Not Twice, BUT THREE TIMES!!! We can't even say it was something he did because the people just blew him off. And each time we told him, "This is it Buck!!" And just another let down. I can't say enough good things about him! He is crate/kennel trained and walks well on a leash. He seems to like every dog, cat, kid, adult he meets. He is heartworm negative, neutered, chipped and current with vaccines. He loves toys and has quite the collection that he loves to toss around but not destroy. He's a young guy, less than 2 would be our guess. Buck would be a wonderful addition to any family. Adoption fee $75.00

Adoption Process
adoption application, home inspection, adoption fee ($250 for puppies which includes age appropriate vaccinations & spay/neuter, $175 for adult dogs which includes age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, & heartworm testing, $75 for cats or kittens which includes age appropriate vaccinations & spay/neuter)
