Meet Gigi~

Allow me to introduce Gigi Nicole, a little girl who has endured a great deal. She was part of a dog hoarding case involving 40 dogs in one home. When Maury County Animal control confiscated the other dogs, her owner attempted to hide her, but fortunately, she was found and rescued.Despite the owner's request to euthanize her because they did not want anybody else to have her, Maury County Animal Control intervened, providing her with a second chance. Russell Rescue TN could not say no to this sweet girl. Upon seeing her picture, I recognized a beautiful soul, tired but hopeful. So I offered to be her Foster.Shortly after RRTN picked her up, she went to a veterinarian who devoted 2 hours to cleaning her teeth and she had to have 10 pulled.Today, I drove to Columbia to pick her up, and it was love at first sight. She remained quiet throughout the ride home, walked beautifully on her leash, and demonstrated knowledge of basic commands.Her foster siblings welcomed her warmly, and she has settled in seamlessly. Presently, she is resting comfortably and we are grateful to have her at Peaceful Paradise.Meet Gigi!  This precious senior gal is 10  years old and 15 pounds. Poor girl came from a horrible hoarding case and has probably never known what life should actually be like in a home!
