Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue's mission is to provide shelter and loving care for animals who have been abused, abandoned, owner surrendered or otherwise destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. At no time shall they be euthanized due to time constraints, medical need or other issues. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will provide loving care for our animals. This includes veterinary care, food and any other necessity until responsible, loving homes can be found for all adoptable pets. All animals shall be spayed or neutered and we will make every effort to encourage those we encounter to do the same.

Meet Henry (bonded with Hank)

Three sweet beagles were dumped at a boat dock in a rural area where there is no animal shelter. Sadly, only two were caught. We believe these boys are brothers who appear to have been raised together. While we believe Henry would be ok without Hank; we think Hank needs Henry. These guys are not without health problems, but are so sweet and deserving of a loving home for their golden years. Henry has a grade five heart murmur. However, the echocardiogram shows he does not need meds at this time. Since he will at some point need meds, an adopter needs to plan for that. Hank has had surgery for a hernia and there is still a small one, but that is not a concern. We are just wanting to be transparent. Additionally, Hank is a very shy boy. Don’t take that in the wrong way; he is as sweet as he can be, just lacking in confidence. Consequently, he needs Henry as he is his one constant source of comfort. Hank and Henry have been in an indoor and outdoor kennel and still need some work on house training. They must have a fenced yard. Both boys dearly love spending nice days outside “together.” The highlight of their day is a leisurely leash walk with their foster mom. They get so very excited! While these guys are not without issues, they are so very deserving of a bright future as pampered pets.
