Meet Teddy
Teddy is handsome black 1 to 2 year old, long-haired, floppy eared, long-tail, 35-40 lb neutered male dog. He was found as an injured stray in Gilmer county, GA, rescued by Animal Control who took him to the Copper Basin Clinic in McCaysville, GA for emergency treatment for his facial wounds. We took him in to give him a chance to recuperate following surgery. He is hw positive and is currently on ivermectin and doxycycline for the slow-kill method of killing the worms. Teddy is very sweet and just wants to be loved while he recovers. The fur has grown back, covering his scars which are not visible. He resembles a miniature Newfoundland in appearance. Teddy is fully vetted now and recovering slowly and living with a pack of 8 other dogs. He uses a doggy door to go outside. If you are interested in helping or adopting Teddy, please call Ron Stoessell at 985-630-1613 or email him at [email protected].
