Well, howdy there—name’s Dan Tucker. Don’t ask me how I ended up in a shelter, ‘cause truth be told, I don’t rightly know. One day I was just living life the way a good ol’ hound ought to, and the next I was behind bars wondering what I did wrong. Far as I can tell, my foster family doesn’t know either—they just keep lookin’ at me and shakin’ their heads, saying, “He’s perfect. How on earth did he end up here?”I’m four years old, 52 pounds, and built with the kind of heart that beats only for people. I’m a gentleman—no barking, no jumping, no climbing on the furniture. I know my manners, I’m housebroken, I walk easy on a leash, and I do my best to make life smooth and simple for the folks who care about me.Truth is, I can be whatever you need. Want a couch potato buddy to keep your toes warm and listen while you tell your stories? I’m your boy. Want a partner to stretch his legs beside you on an adventure? Adoption Process
We require an adoption application and a contract. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $90 for cats. Our requirements are listed on the website and on our contract.
