We hope to bring about a significant change in the treatment of all animals through educational programs and by working closely with other rescue organizations and sanctuaries.Almost Home believes that every animal deserves a loving home regardless of appearance, age, or physical limitation. Meet Sissy - EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED!

EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED!!!Hi! I’m Sissy and I'm in need of a foster home ASAP!!! I am 5 months old and unfortunately, my owner has fallen ill and can no longer care for me. I was sad at first, but then my foster momma said I’ll find a new home!My foster mom says I am the best foster puppy that has come into her home. I don’t like to brag, but I am pretty good. I’m almost 100% potty trained already, I am calm when you want me to be but I also love to play, I am crate trained and I LOVE to sleep with you at night. I am the BEST snuggle bunny! I don’t chew on things I’m not supposed to as long as you give me access to my toys. I love cats, kids, and dogs!I’d prefer a home with another doggy but it’s not a must, I’d just like someone to play with! My mom was a boxer and my dad was the neighbor's Dalmatian! It’s a unique mix, but I’m cute! I won’t be too big, maybe 50lbs.If you want to be my new forever home reach out to my rescue! I’d love a family of my own but right now I would settle for a save place to land. PLEASE HELP ME!!!Love, Sissy*Due to happy puppyness, no small childrenIf you would like to meet your new best friend, contact the Adoption Coordinator at 865-236-0830. Please fill out a foster application on www.almosthometn.org. If you can't get it to work, let us know and we will email it to you in a different format. ****Puppies and kittens will be fixed when they are 4.5 months old. When they are adopted younger than 4.5 months, they MUST be adopted in East Tennessee.

Adoption Process
We require an adoption application and a contract. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $90 for cats. Our requirements are listed on the website and on our contract.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
