Can you imagine have open sores all over you body So painful but you itch so badly you cannot stop scratching. A vicious cycle that never ends.Dezte has lived this way do so long without a minute relief.He was taken from his home by a concerned relative After the owners deserted him. Finally Dexter has relief. No more pain, itching and above all feeling the world had let him down.Dexter just needs a time now. Time for his hair to grow back. For his body to adjust to new food, a clean bed and loving attention. He is thriving with all of this.if you can foster or adopt Dexter and show him what it means to be wanted and loved is all the prescription he needs now. Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
