Meet Angel and Smokey CP

I have a dachshund, Angel, that needs to be rehomed.  I am told both the mother and father were full dachshunds. She was my brother's dog who was known to take in many rescues into his home over the years and my brother is now deceased. I am not able to care for his dog(s). She will be approximately 15 years old this summer according to her July 2024 medical record. She weighed 17.60 lbs in July 2024. She is good with children, adults and other dogs. She is laid back. She is trained and sleeps all night. She has no problem sleeping or chilling in her crate. She has a bestie named Smokey, a young Jack Russell mix (I am told), that I am trying to rehome as well.Smokey needs to be rehomed.  He was my brother's dog who was known to take in many rescues into his home over the years and my brother is now deceased. I am not able to care for his dog(s). Smokey will be approximately 3 years old this summer according to his July 2024 medical record. He weighed 26.2 lbs in July 2024 and has not grown much since then. He is good with children and adults and his bestie is Angel, a Dachshund. He does not get along with one dog, a lab, that my brother rescued, so I would rather place him in a home with no other dogs unless he is placed with Angel. He is very active and loves to play. He is trained and sleeps all night. He has no problem sleeping or chilling in his crate. His bestie, Angel, is a 14.5 year old Dachshund (I am told the mother and father were full dachshunds) that I am trying to rehome as well.Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step.
