Critter Cavalry Rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Meet ROUX

Imagine being a 50-pound bundle of energy, joy, and potential—with nowhere to go and no idea what it means to just be a dog. That was Roux’s reality for the first years of her life.  Roux is a stunning 2.5-year-old grey Goldendoodle who started life confined to a small apartment. She had little room to play, no yard to explore, and no canine companions to show her the ropes. The lack of exercise and mental stimulation left her with anxiety and uncertainty about the world outside four walls. When Roux was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue, she had never been spayed, had no idea how to enjoy freedom, and needed a new start.  Her second chance came on a farm, where she met wide open spaces, curious animals, and—most importantly—dogs who knew how to run, play, and explore. At first, Roux froze when faced with freedom. She didn't know what to do off-leash. But with time, patience, and the encouragement of her new playmates, something beautiful happened: Roux blossomed. The weight of her early confinement lifted, and a playful, affectionate, and spirited girl emerged. Roux is now thriving with a body and spirit set free. She races through fields, bounds with joy, and embraces life with a sense of wonder. She’s still a little quirky—a reminder of the tough start she had—but with a kind, confident, and experienced dog-savvy family, Roux will continue to grow into the incredible companion she was always meant to be.  Roux’s Ideal Home:  A confident, playful dog buddy A large fenced yard to chase butterflies (and maybe her own tail)‍‍‍ A family with dog experience and a whole lotta love Okay with cats (she might boop them once or twice) Probably best in homes with kids over 8, just because she’s a bit bouncy  She’s ready for her forever home—somewhere she can finally be her best, happiest self. Interested in adopting this gorgeous goofball? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected].       Roux is ready for a home that can continue unlocking her potential.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]    Let Roux show you how beautiful a second chance can be.  Trust us, once you meet he,  you won’t stop smiling.       :   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
