Critter Cavalry Rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Meet PUPPY SAFARI

Our beautiful golden brindle boy is called Safari and his story is one filled with the ultimate miracle, survivor qualities and love that went to all ends to give him a chance in life.  Safari is one of the luckiest puppies ever and out of a litter of perhaps 5 or more he is one of two that survived!  Safari is a mixed breed boy who began his life under the most unlucky circumstances as he was born to a stray mama around the beginning of January in a shed on a rural Kentucky property. For about the first 7 weeks of his life he lived in this shed with his mama and siblings with virtually no human contact.  His luck changed when the son of a Critter Cavalry foster mom went to the property to pick up a car he had purchased and noticed the puppies and the horrible conditions in which they were living.  One quick phone call and a plan was put into action to rescue Safari and his siblings. Safari was removed from the property and immediately began receiving the love and medical attention he needed. He has since blossomed into the most lovable lap baby ever!  Safari absolutely loves people and wants to be near his foster mom at all times. He just has the sweetest personality and would do great around children, all other types of dogs and probably a friend to any cat introduced to him as a young pup.  kids. He has a lovely soft brindle coat that just makes you want to snuggle him!  We do not know a lot about either his mom or dad, but the puppy weight calculator puts his adult weight at about 40 pounds.  We just cannot say enough about how this boy has overcome his horrible beginning in life and blossomed into the most incredible rescue success story!  His foster mom will shed buckets of tears when he leaves!  If you are looking for a lovable, loyal, great personality addition to your family, Safari is your boy!  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected] PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
