We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Looking for a little dog with a big personality? Say hello to MJ, a 3-year-old, 18-pound wirehaired cutie who is as unique and scruffy as he is lovable! MJ is a happy-go-lucky guy who lives life with a bubbly spirit. He’ll have you laughing with his silly antics and goofy quirks, then melt your heart by curling up in your lap for snuggles. He absolutely loves attention and would prefer to be the only dog so he doesn’t have to share the spotlight—because honestly, he deserves it all! This little character enjoys having a fenced yard where he can run and play, and while he’s crate-trained, he’d much rather be hanging out with you. He’s doing well with his house training, especially when kept on a good potty routine. MJ hasn’t been tested with very young kids, so a home with children 8 and older would be best.
