Meet Gunnar
Gunnar is a 5 year old terrier mixed with chihuahua, lab, etc., according to a DNA test. He is about 35 lbs. and a very healthy and athletic boy. Gunnar gets along great with other dogs. He is a little nippy but he's not aggressive and does not bite. He must have some herder dog in him. He has been working on this and seldom nips now. He is very intelligent and wants to please. He is a talker and likes to nibble your ears. It tickles. Gunnar makes a very funny face with his lips curled up in a growl with a big smile on his face, while he is wagging all over. When he squints his eyes at you, he has absolutely the sweetest face ever. No way you do not laugh a lot around him. Gunnar is very affectionate and playful. He is a velcro boy and cannot get close enough for cuddles. The other foster in his home is Bruce. They are having a blast running and playing together, especially in the snow. Mom has to keep calling them in to warm up. The older dogs just growl at him and he backs off. There are no food aggression or social issues. He warms up quickly to new people even though, he is a little shy at first. Gunnar is up-to-date on vetting, crate trained, and housetrained. He knows basic commands and minds very well. He does not need to be crated and prefers to sleep on the bed with you. Very close, of course, and other dogs are fine.
