Critter Cavalry Rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Meet PUPPY MISHKA

It is our delight to offer this beautiful Blue Merle Aussie mix girl named Mishka to the world of dog lovers and puppy fans.  When you see this grey and black speckled girl you cannot help but want to scoop her up in your arms and give her kisses and hugs.  Mishka welcomes every one of the kisses and certainly all the hugs that you can offer.  Born the middle of April 2023 this precious girl was part of a litter of 7.  She was raised by her momma dog till about 10 weeks of age and then Critter Cavalry Rescue was called to help take the puppies and find them homes while getting them healthy and ready for a lifetime adventure.  She is currently 15 pounds and will one day be a 45-50 pound adult.  She is one of the calmest of the group and the foster mom is amazed at her peace and serenity, but notes she has the rowdy side too at time.  The 6 children in the foster family love to hold the pups and Mishka is the one that enjoys it the most.   She will let them hold her for a long time which is rare for a puppy who is so young.  She is patient with the young children.  She has much to learn in life and we want an active family, person or couple to raise her with lots of exercise, fenced yard, hikes, teaching sessions to polish her manners and commands and to keep her mind challenged and sharp.  She is not a dog to park and allow her to raise herself. If you are up for the task and the rewards of doing the work then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]   We are in Nashville, TN and adopt northward to the northeast.  Let us know where you live when you inquire.              ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact [email protected].
