Meet SuzyQ

Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.SuzyQ update Nov 3rd 2023: SuzyQ is doing well, her jaw has fibroused nicely, she loves her canned food. She is still skittish but loves following her foster mom around. SuzyQ update Sept 15th 2023. Suzy Q had her spay and dental. Her dental was quite complicated by needing 34 teeth pulled and an infected deteriroating jaw bone. Her jaw bone fractured overnight, it tore her stitches and broke a blood vessel :( SuzyQ will need about four to six weeks fibrose/scar in Hi! I'm SusyQ. I'm a very sweet girl, I love hanging out with my foster mom. I get along great with the other dog in the house that is my size.  I am a recent breeder release girl just starting my journey to become a house pet. I'm learning all about housetraining, wearing a harness, walking on a leash, being in a grassy fenced yard.I do require a fenced yard as I don't understand the dangers of cars and roads and I get spooked by loud noises. Living outside a breeding facility is all new for me. Can you be my furever home? I am almost 8 yrs old, I weigh 12 pounds, my adoption fee is $250 plus sales tax $11.25=$261.25

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
