Meet Bo

We are an all volunteer/ foster home based rescue. Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it Hello my name is Bo. I just came to DDR. I do very well with the other dogs here. In fact I really like having other dogs around to show me the ropes. I am getting to like the attention I get and I like to be where my foster mom is. I do need a fenced yard. I am not at all ready for a leash. You just have to meet me in person!My name is Bo. I am about 5 years old and about 13 pounds. My adoption fee is $325 plus tax of $14.63 for a total of $339.63. My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter and dental.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
