Lona is a laid back gal that loves attention. She has been in a foster home and is completely house trained and doesn't need a crate. Lona is good on a leash and likes to go on walks, but is not high energy. Belly rubs are more her thing. Lona is 3 -1/2 yrs old with a birth date of 07/07/2020 and she weighs about 60 pounds. Lona wants to be an only dog. She is jealous of other dogs if they get attention or food. We offer foster-to-adopt so you can bring Lona home and see how she fits in your life. Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
