Meet Maxie

Sweet boy Maxie came from a rural shelter in North Carolina. His time was up as he had been there a month. He had some skin issues that needed to be addressed so we stepped up to help this sweet, little boy.  Maxie is about 9 months old we believe and approximately 30 pounds. He loves to play with other dogs and even played with the dog friendly cat in his first foster home.  We have treated his skin issues, and his hair is coming back in, and he is healthy and happy.  Maxie loves loves to play in a fenced yard with another dog, loves to take walks and chew on healthy chews for puppies.  He is crate trained and housebroken but prefers to sleep in bed with his person. If he is crated at night, he wants the crate to be next to the bed so he can see his people.  He is a typical high energy puppy who loves to run and play. He has met many people and other dogs and gets along well with all. He would definitely be ok with older considerate children. He seemed a little scared of a toddler he met but has never been around small children.  Maxie is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, micro chipped and neutered. We are not sure of his breeds. He came from a shelter. He is a little guy and high energy. Maxie is located in Myrtle Beach, SC  Home visit, approved application, and adoption donation of $300 required.

Adoption Process
vet and personal references, home visit, and adoption donation which is normally $200-250 for dogs and $50-$100 for cats.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
