Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers, as well as small Boston Terrier mixes where resources permit, from situations of abuse or neglect or from other situation that leave the dogs without an owner, such as from owners who surrender their pets or from animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations. That is our official mission statement. In simple terms, this is a warm, loving group of volunteers that saves Boston Terriers for the love of the breed and the desire to stop the neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs from suffering.

Meet Frank & Jessie

Bonded Senior Pugs Available for Adoption Frank and Jessie are an adorable pair of senior pugs looking for their retirement home. They are both super sweet and chill. They do great with other dogs, even their slightly aggressive foster sister . These boys came from a home where they were definitely loved. The vet estimates these gentlemen to be about 12 years old, in good overall health, with no life-threatening conditions, and a few remaining years left to enjoy life . Frank has dry eyes which require daily eye drops. He is visually impaired but sticks right with his brother and has no trouble. These boys love getting pets and scratches. They enjoy naps, long walks in the garden, snacks and mealtime. Frank and Jessie are truly bonded, following each other around and almost always touching when sleeping. Do you have a couch that needs two adorable couch potatoes to keep it warm? The fellas are each 26 lbs, neutered, and up-to-date on vetting. Though they have pretty good house manners now, they will need some time to adjust to a routine in a new home, like most rescues. If being too cute was a crime, these boys would be convicted felons. Frank and Jessie are located in Charlotte, NC. Their adoption fees will be greatly reduced to place them in the right home. Please apply at https://www.bostonrescueteam.com/info/adoption.

Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
