Save the Strays Animal Rescue

Save the Strays has been rescuing abandoned and unwanted dogs since 2003. Our goal is to find them new homes where they will be treated as cherished family members. Dogs that aren’t adoptable remain with us for as long as they live. We are an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue incorporated as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and public charity. All donations to our rescue are tax-deductible and are used solely to pay for our dogs’ care.

Meet Delilah

DELIGHTFUL DELILAH! If you’re looking for a calm, quiet dog that makes no demands, Delilah may be the dog for you. This affectionate boxer/English bulldog mix is 11 years old but still has a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give. She enjoys walks on leash, a ramble around the yard, a few minutes of fetch or tug of war, rides in the car and – most of all – lounging on the couch or snoozing at your feet. She's good with the other dogs here, too.  Health-wise, Delilah is in great condition. She just had a veterinary exam in October, comprehensive bloodwork in August (all results normal) and is up to date on her vaccines, 4 DX test and heartworm prevention.  Delilah’s adoption fee is just $100 so what are you waiting for? Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete an application, provide references and be interviewed. If approved, they must sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which is refundable if a dog is returned to us within two weeks of the adoption date.
