Meet Winston! Hi I I'm Winston and I'm 2 years old! I am the sweetest high-energy goofball who LOVES food, cuddles, and general silliness. My current foster mom says I'm great with her two other big dogs (Labrador and Pitbull mix) and am a sweet big brother to my human foster toddler brother (wow that's a mouthful!). I love playing with my foster dog sister and also love sunbathing when the weather is nice :sunny: I'm not a great walker on a regular leash and collar yet (just being honest!) BUT I walk so well with a pronged collar even my tiny foster mom can easily walk me - I bet she'll be more than happy to give it to you to make walks with me a breeze! So if you're in need of a running buddy or walking partner, I'm your guy and would love to burn off some of this extra puppy energy! I respond to commands well (sit, stay) and really dislike the spray bottle which means that's a great way to get me to stop doing something I shouldn't be doing. Oh and I'm neutered and heartworm negative. Aaand did I mention I LOVE food? This is great for training because I'm super treat-motivated but you might just want to be a bit careful about where you put your food that you don't want me to eat. Did I mention that I'm also crate-trained and find it to be a comforting place to hang out from time to time? And it doubles as my bedroom too! A couple of requirements my foster mom is making me tell you: I can be a bit of an escape artist so I should ideally be in a home with a privacy or mesh-reinforced fence where I can't go through the bars (I'm a skinny guy so sometimes it's easy for me to do so). No yard is probably fine too as long as you're able to walk me often! Also while I get along great with the big dogs, I am not a fan of and definitely cannot be around small dogs or cats. I think that's pretty much it! I know I'm not perfect and need some help controlling my exuberance but at the core of it, I really just want to be in a home where I'm loved and get to cuddle up next to you while we watch TV.
