Meet Charlotte

Meet Charlotte aka Lotte! Age: approx 9 years. Breed: pit bull mix. Size: approx 45lbs. Training: leash and crate trained, she is doing well with house training. Good with dogs/cats? No interest in dogs/she ignores them, cat test pending. Good with men/women/kids? Yes, though she does appear to be timid of men at first. She does warm up though. Personality: friendly, affectionate. Loves to cuddle. Reason for rescue: Charlotte was turned into a kill shelter after her owners claimed she bit them while breaking up a dog fight. This sweet girl isn't aggressive AT ALL. But because they claimed that, the shelter marked her rescue only and she was scheduled to be killed if no rescue stepped up. A foster volunteered to save her just in time. We don't know the situation surrounding Lotte's surrender. We do know from experience, sometimes people lie to make themselves look better when getting rid of their dog. Lotte is NINE YEARS OLD and suddenly she isn't doing well with other dogs? It just doesn't make sense. Come meet Lotte and decide for yourself. She is the sweetest girl! Lotte is microchipped and current on vaccinations and preventatives. She is scheduled to be spayed and heartworm tested. If you are interested in adding this sweet lady to your family, please message for an adoption application. She isn't available for adoption yet, but we are accepting applications! Adoption fee: no fee to the perfect forever home! (Our usual screening process still applies).
