Meet Maggie
Maggie is a little 11-pound blonde Chihuahua mix of 1.5 years. She was dumped in a neighborhood and left on her own. After six days wandering, she was scooped up by one of our amazing volunteers for fostering and to see if her family could be located. Unfortunately, she has not been claimed. She is located in Anderson, SC. Maggie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She is a velcro dog that loves to be with her person and would love to share your bed, laying beside you under the covers. She is housetrained, but needs work on basic commands. If you are interested in this sweet Chi, please apply at https://www.bostonrescueteam.com/info/adoption.
Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
