Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Paolo! Breed: italian greyhound. Age: 1 year. Weight: 15.2lbs. Training: crate trained, working on house and leash training! He hasn't had many life experiences, and will need guidance and patience as he learns how to be a companion. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: Paolo is friendly, curious, playful, and affectionate. He is a little skittish in new situations, but looks for your attention. He loves other dogs and we feel he needs another dog in his new home. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Paolo is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $350.
