Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Linus

Meet Linus! Breed: moyen poodle. Age: est 1 year. Weight: approx 20lbs at this time. He could stand to gain a few pounds. Training: crate trained, we are working on house and leash training. He will need continued training and guidance as he hasn't had many life experiences. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, LOVES other dogs. In fact, we think he'd do best with another dog to teach him the ropes. Good with adults/kids? Yes, although he is shy/submissive at first. He will need time to adjust. Personality: shy but curious. Playful with other dogs. He is learning how to play with toys! Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Linus spent the first year of his life with little socialization. He has come so far, but will need a patient and understanding owner to help him become the wonderful companion we know he can be! He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application!
