Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Minnie! Breed: dachshund/lab mix? Breed unknown. She has short legs and a long body. Age: 1-2 years. Weight: approx 30-35ish lbs. Training: crate trained, working on house and leash training and she is doing well. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: a little shy at first, but warms up to be friendly and affectionate! She is very loyal. Reason for rescue: owner surrender, cannot care for. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75.
