Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Zuma! Age: est 1 year. Breed: dachshund/mix. Size: approx 17lbs. Training: crate and leash trained, doing great with house training. She is very loyal and eager to please! Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both, she even follows her foster to the barn and does fine with the horses. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: owner could not care for, surrendered with pups. She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: $250.
