Meet Chance! This elderly gentleman wants nothing more than a quiet home where he can spend his golden days relaxing on a soft comfy bed and getting some good, gentle pets. He spends most of his day sleeping so he would be perfect for a slow moving home who just wants a little companion around. He's peaceful with other dogs as long as they aren't jumping all over him! He has sensitive back legs and hips and has a harder time walking around but he still loves going for short walks and taking in the scenery! Also due to his sensitive body, Chance is not a fan of being picked up so having somewhere comfy for him to sleep on the floor is ideal! Chance was returned to the shelter after being in a home for almost 12 years through now fault of his own. He can be heard whining on occasion as he doesn't always know where he is. He just needs someone who will answer his cries with love and affection so he knows he's not alone. This poor old man is looking for a long term foster or adopter who will give him the best end of life care and love! Could that be you? Call the Ranch to come meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
