Great Pyrs & Paws Rescue

We are a shelter less organization dedicated to the rescuing, rehabilitation and re-homering of Great Pyrenees. We rescue Great Pyr's in danger of euthanization from high kill shelters in Texas and re-home them across the western states. We educate our adopters and only choose the best homes for these dogs.

Meet Sophie (AP)

Meet Sophie!  Sophie is a five-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle and affectionate temperament. She has been completely socialized with children, other dogs, and cats. She is naturally a caretaker. She's fully vaccinated, spayed, and in excellent health. Her gentle nature makes her truly remarkable. Sophie is house-trained and knows basic commands, making her an ideal companion for a loving family or individual. True to her breed, she thrives with plenty of open space to exercise her guardian instincts.   Sophie likes to go for walks, the park, car rides, cuddle on the sofa and in bed, and to give and receive lots of affection!  Does Sophie sound like your girl?  Sophie is being fostered in Dallas, TX but can be on the next transport to the PNW! All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.
