Meet Shayla

Celebrate the holidays with Shayla, a 9-month-old girl eager to become the heart of your home. While we suspect she's a Terrier-Chihuahua mix, one thing's for certain – Shayla is ready to find her forever family. She is a festive delight, her spirit as vibrant as the holiday season, all bundled into a 14 lbs. body.   Though Shayla is still mastering socialization, once she opens up, get ready to be greeted by the cutest toe-tapping dance and full-body tail wags. Shayla can be a little slow to reveal her inner social butterfly, but when she does, she makes sure her family knows they are the absolute best thing ever and has a personality far larger than you could imagine. Shayla will need a family who has the time to take on a curious puppy.    Ideally suited to dogs her size or larger, Shayla's boundless enthusiasm may be a bit much for smaller friends, and although she has coexisted with cats previously, a dog-savvy cat home is a must if there is one in the house.   Shayla has already excelled in basic training – she's kennel trained, sleeps soundly through the night, house trained, walks wells on a leash, and follows basic commands. Shayla adores snuggles (especially under blankets), winter wonderland walks, tasty treats and sharing toys in a jolly play session. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
