​"I've been an animal lover and activist all my life. I used to live in Southern California and had a pet supply store from 1995 to 2010 where we only had rescue animals for adoption. I was one of the very first to apply this concept of getting animals out of high kill shelters and finding them good homes. In those 15 years I placed over 16,000 animals. I left California in 2016 and moved to Washington. Since living here I noticed that there are not as many animals here for adoption and, knowing the situation in LA, I wanted to start rescuing again. Meet Lucky

Lucky was rescued laying by the side of a busy road in dire condition in Mexico.. Lucky was emaciated and near death. He was rushed to the hospital where we learned that he also had the deadly disease distemper. He was hospitalized for several weeks and he managed to pull through and is healthy once again, but that's how he got his name! Lucky recovered nicely and you wouldn't be able to tell what he has been through, he is very affectionate and loves to play with other dogs not to mention that he is stunningly gorgeous super elegant looking pup you would see in famous paintings. However a painting would not show his goofy clumsy nature that puts a smile on your face. He is ready for his forever home here in the PNW and is in foster care in Vancouver, WA. He is people and dog friendly. But does bark at cats This little brave survivor deserves the best home possible. Please call if you are interested in adopting him!

Adoption Process
Interview, home inspection, meet and greet, adoption contract, refund within 5 days if dog is brought back.
