Meet Bauble

Bauble is one of our winter wonders here at Rescue Ranch. She came in with her two sisters, Tinsel and Garland, and she is ready to explore a life with a family. Bauble and her two look-alike sisters arrived as older puppies around Christmas 2023.  Although all three are on the shy side, it was clear that Bauble was not adjusting well at the adoption center.  After a few weeks she was placed in a foster home where she has been building confidence and gaining much needed familiarity with the world.   Bauble weighs in at 35 pounds. She has blended into her new dog pack well and is gently curious about the cat.  Bauble rides well in the car (although she would rather stay home) and actively seeks her crate for resting or when uncomfortable with current events.  So far, her fosters have never heard her bark, except once, in her sleep.  Everything about Bauble is gentle, even her eating habits. She stays close on leash, watches but never engages with unfamiliar people or dogs.  Amazingly she cooperates with grooming including nail clipping.  It may  take a little longer to overcome her shyness but her temperament is sweet and well worth the wait. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
